Many of us pay no attention to our dog or cat’s paws but sadly their paw pads are not damage proof. Weather & different environmental changes can cause their paws to burn. Ouch! It’s extremely painful for them and painful for your wallet too! Additionally, If your pet’s paws are cracked and dry, it may be time to give their little paws some TLC.

Most skin issues will always go back to diet. The average pet diet consists of highly processed (both dry and wet) food w/ poor quality. It’s like feeding them fast food each day. Don’t get us wrong though, hygiene also plays a big part. Lack of hygiene will also cause odor, itchiness, skin dryness, flakiness, and wounds. It’s important that they are clean — remember, they cannot bathe and clean themselves thoroughly without our help. We talk about this because for us, it’s always best to find the source of the issues.

We advocate for single ingredient treatos because they are what’s best for our pet’s little tummies. It’s tempting to give different kinds of treats that are highly-processed since they are marketed very well but ultimately, if you read the ingredient list — a lot of the ingredients are not good for them and are not sourced sustainably.
